5th Phase of Lok Sabha Election, In the fifth phase of 2024 Lok Sabha elections, voting ended on Monday for 49 seats in 6 states and 2 union territories. Till 5 pm, 56.68% voting has been done. The highest turnout was in West Bengal at 73% and the lowest in Maharashtra at 48.66%.
Apart from this, 48.95% voting took place on 35 seats of the second phase of Odisha Assembly, 53.82% on Gandey Assembly seat of Jharkhand and 42.53% on Lucknow East seat. There have been clashes between BJP candidates and TMC supporters in Barrackpore and Hooghly, West Bengal.

Rashmi Thackeray, wife of former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, showed the mark of voting ink on her finger after casting her vote. He cast his vote at a polling booth in Mumbai.
