Police arrested Kannada film star Darshan, Kannada film star Darshan has been arrested by the Bengaluru Police in an alleged murder case. A case was registered against Darshan on June 9 by Kamakshipalya police and in this connection the actor was arrested from his farmhouse in Mysore. Darshan was taken to Bengaluru. He was arrested on suspicion of murder of a person named Renukaswamy.
According to ANI, the police told the media in the press conference that Darshan is still being interrogated. According to the police, another accused in the murder case named Darshan and the mother of the murdered youth had also lodged a complaint. Darshan was arrested on the same basis.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner B. Dayanand said, ‘In connection with a murder case registered in the limits of Kamakshipalya police station of Bengaluru West Division on June 9, an actor from the Kannada film industry was taken into custody and arrested. Other details are still awaited, and the matter is being investigated. There is a case of murder of Renukaswami of Chitradurga.

Police said that about 10 people have been detained and are being interrogated. Talking about Darshan’s film career, he made his acting debut in the year 1997 with the film ‘Mahabharata’. Before becoming an actor, he worked as a projectionist for a year and then also worked as an assistant cameraman. Initially, Darshan was seen only in supporting roles in films, but then emerged as the lead actor. In his career, he has given many hit films so far, including films like ‘Namma Preethiya’, ‘Kalasipalya’, ‘Gaaja’ and ‘Sarathi’.
