IND-W VS AUS-W, 2nd T20 India-w was beaten by the Australian–w team they leveled the three-match series 1-1. DY Patil Sports Academy Stadium, Navi Mumbai. Indian-W won the first match of this series but today they were outclassed in every department by Australian-W.  Kim Garth was outstanding with the ball and Ellyse Perry played her 300th international cricket match she scored the highest runs in the match and finished the hit-winning runs for her team. Deepti Sharma performed well that’s the only positive for Team India

The Australian women’s team won the toss captain Alyssa Healy decided to bowl first at DR. DY Patil Sports Academy Stadium, Navi Mumbai. Megan Schutt starts the bowling attack for the Australian-W team. Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana start for team India.

Smriti Mandhana scored 23 runs off 26 balls Annabel Sutherland took her wicket. Indian wicket-keeper Richa Ghosh scored 23 runs off 19 balls with a strike rate of 121.05 and Deepti Sharma scored the highest runs of the Indian team in the last over she got run out at 30 runs off 27 balls.

Women in blue put 130/8 in 20 overs and set a target of 131 runs for the Aussies. Kim Garth, Annabel Sutherland, and Georgia Wareham each took 2 wickets. Ashleigh Sutherland took 1 wicket Australia needed 131 runs to win this match.

Australian Skipper Alyssa Healy and Beth Money came to open. Renuka Singh starts the bowling attack for team India. Australian openers played beautifully their partnership ended with a score of 51 runs Alyssa Healy tried to smash the ball but didn’t time well Shreyanka Patil took a diving catch Deepti Sharma took her wicket Alyssa Healy Scored 26 runs off 21 balls.

Deepti Sharma’s second wicket of Beth Money who scored 20 runs off 29 balls, was stumped by Richa Ghosh (wicket-keeper). Shreyanka Patil took the wicket of Tahlia McGrath caught by Richa Ghosh she scored 19 runs off 21 balls. Ashleigh Gardner scored 7 runs off 10 balls caught by Richa Ghosh and balled by Pooja Vastrakar.

Ellyse Perry played her 300th international cricket match and scored 34 runs off 21 balls Ellyse Perry finished this match with style she hit six to win the match in the 19th over. Deepti Sharma took 2 wickets, Shreyanka Patil 1 and Pooja Vastrakar took 1 wicket. Australia won this match with 6 wickets. Kim Garth won the Player of the Match award for her Balling performance.

After IND-W VS AUS-W, 2nd T20. India-W will face the Australia-W team for the final Match of this series that match will be the series decider and will held at DR. DY Patil Sports Academy Stadium, Navi Mumbai on 9 January 2024
