Indian Premier League (IPL) auction was held in Dubai on 19 December ahead of the 2024 edition, we are talking about the Top five most expensive buys of the IPL 2024 auction.

Tata IPL Teams was keen to buy new Players in their respective teams there were some high-profile cricketers available in the auction and some young talent from domestic cricket was also attracting the eyes of the IPL Teams.

5. Alzarri Joseph

4. Harshal Patel

Harshal Patel is 33-year-old right-arm medium-pace bowler Harshal Patel joined Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2012. Pat Cummins has played 50 matches to date in his T20 international career, and he took 55 wickets, with an average of 24.55, conceding nearly 7.38 runs per over with a best individual figure of 3 for 15. Cummins appeared in the IPL 2024 auction and was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 20.5 crore, making him the second-most-expensive player in IPL history.

Mitchell Starc is a 33-year-old left-arm fast bowler who plays for the Australian cricket team he played an important role in winning the men’s World Cup 2023. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest bowlers in white-ball cricket as well as one of the best fast bowlers to play in the ICC Cricket World Cup.

Mitchell Starc has played 58 matches to date in his T20 career, and he took 73 wickets, with an average of 22.92, conceding nearly 7.64 runs per over with a best individual figure of 4 for 20.
