Roman Reigns VS Cody Rhodes
After returning to the WWE, Cody Rhodes stated that he returned to WWE to win the championship that his father, Dusty Rhodes, never got to hold, the WWE Championship. In 2023, after winning the Royal Rumble, He came close to winning the title at WrestleMania 39 but due to Interference from Solo Sikoa Cody Rhodes, he lost the Match against Roman Reigns. Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble Match again.
Cody Rhodes decided to face Roman Reigns but the Rock made a return to WWE RAW in January. On the 2nd February Episode of SmackDown Cody Rhodes announced that he would not challenge Reigns at WrestleMania and said that one of the individuals he took counsel from in making his decision knew Roman Reigns very well. This brought out The Rock, who came face-to-face with Reigns.
In Wrestlemania 40 media event Cody Rhodes changed his decision and he challenged Roman Reigns for the title. Cody Rhodes spoke out about the Samoan Family and the Rock slapped Cody in the face. Triple H chief content Officer of WWE confirmed that Cody Rhodes will face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship on night 2.
Cody Rhodes made a challenge to the rock at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. He wants to have a match against the Rock at any time at any place and Seth Rollins said he will be on Cody Rhodes Corner.
The Rock denied a challenge on the last Episode of SmackDown and instead offered a counter, a tag team match featuring Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins against Rock and Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania Night 1 with an added stipulation that if Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins won, then The Bloodline would be barred from ringside during the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match on Night 2, however, if Rock and Roman Reigns won, then the championship match would be contested under The Bloodline’s rules in which anything goes.
Seth Rollins VS Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre taking a heel turn on TV and he is in pursuit of a World championship. Drew McIntyre challenged Seth Rollins before at the Crown Jewel Where he lost the match. Seth Rollins is the fighting champion he also wants to face Cody Rhodes in Wrestlemania for a Championship match.

Drew McIntyre came into the mix and made his intention clear he wanted to win the World Heavyweight Championship. In Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, LA Knight, Kevin Owens, and Logan Paul in Elimination Chamber Match.
Drew McIntyre targeted Seth Rollins in the last Episode of RAW he hit Seth Rollins with a Claymore kick.
Bayley Won the Women’s Royal Rumble match from the #3 spot by last eliminating Liv Morgan. Bayley created a new record for the longest time spent in a single women’s Royal Rumble match at 1:03:03, beating Rhea Ripley’s record from the previous year.
On the February 2 episode of SmackDown, Bayley was betrayed by his stable mate partners. She was jumped by the Asuka, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane. Bayley Was kicked out by the group known as Damage CRTL. Afterward, Bayley announced she would challenge Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania XL.
Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley came face to face in WrestleMania 40 media press conference. Rhea Ripley received a great ovation from the fans in the WWE media Press Conference. Fans are chanting “Mami” and Rhea Ripley described herself as the dominant Women’s world champion of all time.
Becky Lynch came next in a media conference and fans gave her the same ovation as Rhea Ripley. Becky Lynch said “I made a legendary career out of knocking golden girls from their top spots, and Mami is going to find out what it’s like to be at the bottom”
Rhea Ripley Defeated Nia Jax in Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View to retain his Women’s World Championship. Beck Lynch defeated Liv Morgan, Bianca Blair, Naomi, Raquel Rodriguez, and Tiffany Saffron in the Elimination Chamber match to earn a title match for the Women’s World Championship match at Wrestlemania 40.
