Borussia Dortmund beat SV Darmstadt 3-0 in Bundesliga. Jadon Sancho made his return and provided an assist in his first match on a loan spell. Darmstadt is at the bottom of this table this season they are the weakest team. Borussia Dortmund stands 5th in the Bundesliga table with this victory behind the table leader Bayer Leverkusen in 2nd and Bayern Munich in 3rd VFB Stuttgart and 4th RB Leipzig.

First-Half

Borussia Dortmund visited Stadion am Böllenfalltor stadium as heavy favorites to win this match. SV Darmstadt is the weaker side this season they stand in the last place in the Bundesliga table. In the 19th minute, Julian Brandt received a cross and hit the ball, but Marcel Schuhen saved, and the defense cleared the ball.

In the 24th minute, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens passed the ball to Julian Brandt who scored an excellent goal Dortmund took the lead. Borussia Dortmund created pressure on the Darmstadt defense line. In the 41st minute, Donyell Malen hits the volley but misses the target Borussia Dortmund looking to extend the lead. Somehow SV Darmstadt managed to stop the Borussia Dortmund to score the second goal. Torsten Lieberknecht’s side is not able to threaten Borussia Dortmund at all in the first half. Visitors dominated the game in this half. The first half ended at a 1-0 score line.

Second-Half

The second half begins, Darmstadt forward Luca Pfeiffer takes a shot from the distance, but it is an easy save for Gregor Kobel. In the 63rd minute, Holland took a corner kick creating a chance for Luca Pfeiffer who headed the ball beautifully, but Gregor Kobel made an excellent save to protect the lead. In the 67th minute, Marcel Sabitzer took a shot from outside the box Marcel Schuhen made a save. In the 77th minute, Substitute Jadon Sancho received the ball and created a chance with a low cross Marco Reus scored a goal with an easy Tap-in Dortmund led the match with two goals.

Dortmund wants to kill the match with the third goal they are attacking relentlessly. Darmstadt did not use their possession of the ball they were unable to create chances in the opponent’s half. In the 93rd minute, Youssoufa Moukoko made a run and passed the ball to Marcel Sabitzer who passed the ball back to Moukoko who scored a coolly goal. Dortmund wins the match with a 3-0 margin. Jadon Sancho made an impact after his return from Manchester United. Borussia Dortmund now wants to climb the table for Champions League spots.
