This weekend audiences would not feel bored as they can watch Hritik Roshan and Deepika Starrer movie- “Fighter”. It is an action-drama Hindi Language movie and has a star cast of Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Karan Singh Grover etcetera.

The interesting fact of the movie is it serves as the first film in a planned aerial action franchise. This movie is directed by Sidharth Anand and produced by Viacom18 studios and Marflix Pictures.

It’s packed with intense action scenes. In the movie, Hrithik plays Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, Deepika plays Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, and Anil plays Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh. It is said that real-life Indian Air Force cadets worked for the film.

Siddharth Anand, the director of the film stated, “We have gone on a different level. The audience has not seen something like this before in India at all. It is something we have not attempted before. It’s just impossible to make a film like this at the cost at which we are making it. It’s not possible. Certain things we are exploring are really special. I can’t talk about it as I want the people to see it when we launch the teaser. Hopefully, it will just blow their mind”. The film is designed for a global audience and would involve the use of latest technology and filming techniques.

This is Hritik Roshan’s first movie of the year, he was last seen in the movie in Tiger 3 as Major Kabir Dhaliwal in cameo appearance. Deepika Padukone is looking is very hot and her bikini pictures and videos are already getting viral on social media from the movie. Deepika and Hritik are sharing the big screen first time, so there is also a curiosity that viewers will appreciate their onscreen- pair or not. Deepika was last seen in the movie Jawan opposite Sharukh Khan in 2023.

Fighter was originally scheduled for a theatrical release on 30 September 2022 but was delayed due to the production delays owing to the covid 19 pandemic. It is scheduled to release theatrically on 25 January 2024, coinciding with the Republic Day.

The movie is wriiten by Ramon Chibb, an ex-army officer and writer with help of Siddharth Anand. Later, Anand and his team of writers developed a screenplay of the film in the lockdown under the supervision of Hrithik Roshan. Akshay Oberoi said that the film has “much heavier” action scenes than Pathaan (2023.

The teaser of the film was released on 8 December 2023. The official trailer of the film was released on 15 January 2024. Its trailer is now available on youtube and got good amount of views.

While writing the script, makers decided to make it a franchise. In May 2023, it was reported that the production of the sequel film titled Fighter 2, would begin after Anand had finished shooting Tiger vs Pathaan.         

Music of the movie-“Fighter”

The movie consists of five songs, including one emotional song. The music is composed by the duo vishal-shekhar and the music rights are bagged by T-series. Three songs are already there on the lips of audiences now, the first single titled “Sher Khul Gaye” was released on 15 December 2023. The second single titled “Ishq Jaisa Kuch” was released on 22 December 2023. The third single titled “Heer Aasmani” was released on 8 January 2023.

The budget of the movie is Rs 250 Crores, we have to wait for next weekend whether this movie will be a success on box-office or not. Audiences have very high hopes from Hritik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, and they definitely hit the movie theatres next weekend, especially youngsters.
