The trailer begins with a close-up shot of Arthur Fleck behind prison bars. The guards take him to an unknown place. Where Arthur notices a group rehearsing a song. There is also a female prisoner (Lady Gaga) in that group. She says, ‘I am nothing. I have never done anything like you in my life.’
We then see Harley and Arthur together throughout the trailer. She tells Arthur, ‘Come on… let’s get out of here.’ After this both are seen absconding from jail. It seems that the two have reached Gotham City. A song is also playing in the background of this entire trailer, the core of which is that this world needs love. But have Arthur and Harleen really come to share love? Obviously not at all. This film of director Todd Phillips will be released in theaters on October 4, 2024.
