Prabhas is a prominent actor in the south industry and has given phenomenal performances in different movies. He never leaves any stone unturned to impress his audiences, he was last seen in the global blockbuster movie Salaar Part 1: cease-fire as Devaratha “Deva” Raisaar alias Salaar. Now, the inmovie of Prabhas- Kalki 2898 AD is to be released in May.

It is an epic mythological science fiction dystopian movie directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Aswani of Vyjayanthi Movies. The film is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages. It stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.

Prabhas is an Indian actor who mainly works in the Telugu film industry. He gained worldwide fame for his role as Baahubali in the Baahubali film series. Prabhas has a huge fan following and is known for his dedication to his craft. He has also acted in several other successful films like “Mirchi” and “Saaho”. Prabhas is one of the highest-paid actors in the Indian film industry and continues to be a popular choice among filmmakers and audiences alike.

Kalki 2898 AD is made on a budget of ₹600 crore (US$75 million), making it the most expensive Indian film ever made. The film’s music score is composed by Santhosh Narayanan with cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic and production design by Nitin Zihani Choudhary.

Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer POSTPONED; new release date set for May 9. The release of the highly anticipated sci-fi film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, featuring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, has been postponed allowing for a solo box office run. The movie will now be released worldwide on May 9.

On 19 July 2023, the film’s first look was released. It received negative response and later deleted by makers from social media handles and uploaded with some changes which also received criticism. At the 2023 San Diego Comic-Con, the new title for the film was officially announced and the teaser trailer was debuted at the event. Nag Ashwin, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan and C. Aswani Dutt were present at the event.

Kalki 2898 AD is scheduled to release on 9 May 2024 theatrically. Initially aimed for a 2022 release, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and production works.

The trailer for the film will be launched in April 2024.

The film is planned to be released in Telugu and Hindi while also being dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English languages.

Who is Prabhas?

Prabhas, whose full name is Prabhas Raju Uppalapati, is an Indian actor who works primarily in Telugu cinema. He was born on October 23, 1979, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Prabhas gained widespread recognition and popularity for his role as Baahubali in the epic fantasy film series “Baahubali: The Beginning” (2015) and “Baahubali: The Conclusion” (2017). The films, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, became huge blockbusters and brought Prabhas international fame.

Before the Baahubali series, Prabhas had acted in several Telugu films, establishing himself as a leading actor in the industry. Some of his notable films include “Varsham” (2004), “Chatrapathi” (2005), “Mirchi” (2013), and “Saaho” (2019), among others.
