Review of Love sex or Dhoka2: A technical film based on Digital world.

This is an era of experimental cinema in the Hindi film industry, and we should be happy that we are living in such an era. Today’s cinema has changed a lot from earlier cinema. This change is not just at the technical level but at the mental level. Films like Dev D, Ishqiya and LSD prove that films do not work on the star power but on the character and story, which is the reality.

It definitely sounds strange after hearing the name, but our society is such that as soon as the word sex is uttered, the listener’s ears perk up and at the same time, some strange kind of suspicion starts rising on the character of the person speaking. The film Love, Sex Aur Dhoka received a lot of publicity even before its release and also deserves praise after its release. Dibakar Banerjee has previously made films like Khosla Ka Ghosla and Oi Lucky Lucky Oi. There is diversity in his choice of direction and story.

Once he becomes successful, he is not seen looting accolades by making many more films based on the success formula, but like his first two films, he is seen showing something new in the third film too.

The specialty of Dibakar’s films is that these are stories taken from the world around you. Which is true, which is happening around us. That’s why these films attract the middle class. The film Love, Sex and Cheating will put you in doubt whether to go watch the film or not, who knows what you will get to see. Pornography has been made an issue in the film, but believe me, you will not find this film ridiculous. This is not even sensual or obscene.

There are three different stories in the film. The biggest feature of this film is its way of shooting. Throughout the film, it seems as if film studies students have prepared a film while moving with a digital camera. The camera dominates the entire film or we can say that this is the story of the camera which tells how much importance the camera has in today’s digital world whose eyes are everywhere.

If you are fond of experimental cinema and like to watch something new other than stereotype films, then definitely go watch the film. I will not say that it is a great film but Love, Sex aur Dhokha will give you a new perspective of watching the film that such a film can also be made. The songs and music are nothing special. The new actors fit into their roles very well.

All the performances in the movie are powerful – from Paritosh Tiwari and Swaroopa Ghosh’s strained relationship to Bonita Rajpurohit’s portrayal as a third-gender employee at a metro station and Swastika Mukherjee as Kullu’s boss. Abhinav Singh deserves special mention for his acting. The film also has cameos by Urfi Javed, Anu Sardar Malik, Sophie Choudhary, Mouni Roy, and Tusshar Kapoor.
