Actor Gurcharan Singh aka Sodhi of TMKOC is still missing, Police registered a case of kidnapping. The fans of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ recently got a big shock when the news came that actor Gurcharan Singh, who played the character of Mr. Sodhi, is missing. But now the police have registered a case of kidnapping against the actor.
The police have received a CCTV footage, on the basis of which the police have registered a case of kidnapping. Not only this, the police have also found some transactions on Gurcharan Singh’s phone to be fishy. Police have also registered an FIR under section 365 of IPC. It is known that 50 year old Gurucharan Singh is missing for the last four days.
The entire family is in shock due to Gurcharan Singh’s disappearance. Father Hargeet Singh is also worried, although he has gained some courage after the police assured that his son will be found.

His father also told the Police that he was about to get married and also he was little stressed about finances. The investigation conducted by the police so far has revealed that ‘Mr. Sodhi’ i.e. Gurucharan Singh had left his home to go to Mumbai on the morning of 22 April. He had a flight to Mumbai from Delhi airport at 8.30 in the morning. But Gurucharan Singh neither took the flight nor reached Mumbai.
Police have received a CCTV footage, in which Gurucharan Singh is seen leaving. It is being told that the actor’s phone was also working till April 24, but now it is continuously getting switched off. Police are now investigating who Gurcharan Singh had talked to on phone before going missing on April 22. Efforts are being made to trace the call records of the actor.
A source said that Gurucharan Singh had not gone inside the Delhi airport, rather he was seen outside. Now the police is trying to access Gurucharan’s phone and message records, so that they can know with whom Gurucharan Singh last talked before going missing. It is known that Gurucharan Singh was very much liked in the role of Mr. Sodhi in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Even in real life people call him by this name. But in 2020, he said goodbye to this show as well as the world of acting.
