Party leaders also made claims that the announcement will be made in a day or two. After this, there was a sudden discussion that Priyanka from Amethi and Rahul Gandhi from Rae Bareli will contest, but now these discussions also seem to have come to an end. Now it is becoming a common discussion in the political circles that no member of the Gandhi family will contest elections from Amethi and Rae Bareli.
These discussions gained more strength when the Congressmen started a dharna in the office on Tuesday evening. It was written on the placard in his hands that Gandhi family should demand Amethi! Within a few hours this demonstration came into limelight. Congress District President Pradeep Singhal also sat on strike. It is said that only Gandhi family will come as party candidate.
After BJP, now BSP has also started creating election atmosphere with the announcement of its candidate from Amethi. BJP’s Smriti Zubin Irani also filed her nomination on Monday. According to the claim, BSP candidates can also file nomination on Wednesday. In such a situation, leaving the Congress alliance, other parties have started laying the chessboard in the election field. But in the midst of the election season reaching its peak, the non-announcement of Congress candidate has become a topic of discussion not only in Amethi, Rae Bareli but in the entire country.
