Gujarat Police arrested Maulvi who conspired to murder Hindu Leaders.Gujarat Police has arrested a Maulvi for conspiring to perform Hajya of Hindu leaders. According to the police, the Maulvi had also ordered weapons from Pakistan for this. An amount of Rs 1 crore was also arranged for this. Police claim that Telangana BJP MLA T Raja Singh, former BJP leader Nupur Sharma was plotting to murder Hindu Sanatan Sangh leader Upadesh Rana.

Maulvi used to talk to his colleagues sitting in other countries in online code words. This conversation took place in a game like Ludo. It also had the facility of chatting. According to the police, this Maulvi has been arrested by Surat Crime Branch from Kathor village in Kamrej.

According to Surat Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot, the arrested accused is Mohammad Sohail alias Maulvi Abubakar Timol (27). It also offers private tuition on Islam. It had given a ‘betel nut’ worth Rs 1 crore to people from Pakistan and Nepal to kill some Hindu leaders.


Not only this, weapons were also ordered from Pakistan. The name of National President of Hindu Sanatan Sangh, Upadesh Rana, was the first target of Maulvi. After arresting the Maulvi, Surat Crime Branch is busy interrogating and investigating his links. According to Gehlet, the Maulvi used to talk in code words. He and she used to join him in playing online games like Ludo. There was also an option for chatting. In this, he used to discuss with his associates about killing BJP and Hindu leaders.

According to the police, Surat’s Crime Branch was keeping an eye on Timol’s activities for the last few weeks. Sources said that some central investigative agencies are also keeping an eye on Timol and his associates. Investigation has revealed that the Maulvi had made some objectionable comments on social media on Ram Navami. After this he was arrested by Kamrej police station. According to Surat Police Commissioner, investigation of Maulvi’s phone has revealed that he was in touch with people from Pakistan and Nepal through numbers there.

Timol was also found involved in issuing threats to Rana in the month of March. According to Gehlet, threats were issued by linking the numbers of Pakistan and Nepal in the group call. For this a virtual number from Laos was used.
