There was a stir when a mutilated body of a girl was found in Tajganj police station of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The girl’s face was crushed with a stone to disfigure it. The girl’s body was found in the Nagla Paima Masjid complex near the Taj Mahal East Gate. When the people who came to the mosque to offer afternoon prayers saw the dead body, they were stunned. The condition of the dead body was bad. People informed the police after which investigation has been started.
The worshipers who reached the mosque on Sunday were shocked to see the dead body of a young girl. On Sunday, at the time of afternoon namaz, people were gathering for namaz at around quarter to three. But, as soon as they entered the premises, everyone was shocked to see the half-naked body of a young woman.

The girl’s face was badly mutilated. There was only blood all around. It seemed as if someone had hit the girl several times on her face with a stone or some heavy object in order to erase her identity. Agra DCP Police Suraj Rai said that on Sunday, police and dog unit were deployed on the information that a dead body of a girl was found in Nagla Paima area of Tajganj area. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
After the information, the police force reached the spot and started investigation. At present the girl has not been identified. The team is trying to identify. The body was found in a semi-nude condition, hence the police is investigating the matter in every possible way. Nearby CCTV cameras are also being scrutinized. Efforts are being made to find clues of the killer from the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the police area. The girl was wearing white salwar and checked kameez.
