“We have to come together to solve this problem. The BJP is staging sit-in protests against our government. It will not solve any problem. I urge everyone with folded hands to come together to provide relief to the people of Delhi instead of politics. If the BJP speaks to its governments in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and provide some water to Delhi for a month, then the people of Delhi will appreciate its efforts,” the chief minister added.

Delhi Minister Atishi also wrote to the Centre claiming that Haryana has not been releasing the required amount of water.
“Delhi is heavily dependent on water from the Yamuna river for its day-to-day demand for water. However, since the last few days, there has been a drastic dip in the water levels at the Wazirabad Barrage as Haryana is not releasing the required amount of water in the Yamuna river,” Atishi said in a letter Union Water Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
