AAP Leaders Detained From Patel Chowk,, BJP protested in Delhi demanding the resignation of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Bharatiya Janata Party workers are demanding the resignation of Arvind Kejriwal from the post of Chief Minister.

BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa says that they want to divert attention from the liquor scam; they keep saying that they are getting orders (from jail). Arvind Kejriwal is doing drama in ED custody.

He said that I have given a written complaint to the LG and ED Director that action should be taken against the false letter presented by him. The way gangsters and extortionists operate gangs from jail; they want to operate the CM office. A corrupt person like Arvind Kejriwal cannot become CM. He will have to resign.

Delhi liquor policy case

Senior BJP leader Dr. Harshvadhan said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is in jail. In such a situation, he should resign morally. BJP MP Harsh Vardhan further said that Arvind Kejriwal still holding his post shows that he is greedy and does not want to leave his chair due to his insecurity.

Delhi Police have heightened security measures around Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence following a call by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to gherao the PM’s premises in protest against the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Section 144 of the CrPC has been enforced in the vicinity of the PM’s residence as a precautionary measure. In anticipation of potential disruptions, the Delhi Police have increased security in various areas across the national capital. Traffic disruptions are expected in parts of New Delhi and Central Delhi due to ongoing protests, according to a Delhi Traffic Police official. Meanwhile, political parties have kicked off their campaign efforts for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, following the schedule announcement by the Election Commission (EC) on March 16. Today, the Shiv Sena (UBT) is set to reveal its initial list of candidates for Maharashtra.

Led by Uddhav Thackeray, the Shiv Sena, a key member of the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition in the state, is expected to announce up to 16 names for the Lok Sabha polls.

However, the party leaders and workers continued with their protest, following which AAP leader and Punjab Minister Harjot Singh Bains was detained by the Delhi Police. Senior party leader Somnath Bharti was also detained.


Taking to X, Bharti wrote, “The BJP-led central government is targeting everyone who is honest so that it can save the corrupt.”

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita will be present at the INDIA bloc’s protest against the AAP chief’s arrest at Ram Leela Maidan on March 31.

 AAP Leaders Detained from Patel Chowk: Arvind Kejriwal issues 2nd order from ED Custody

 Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday issued his second order from inside the Enforcement Directorate’s custody.

Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj — addressing a press conference — said that CM Arvind Kejriwal has taken note of the unavailability of hospitals and Mohalla clinics in several areas. He added that many of these clinics, if available, are not able to conduct free tests for the people.

“He wants to ensure that the poor get free medicine, who unlike the middle class cannot afford to buy them,” Bharadwaj said.

Kejriwal has asked the Health Minister to “ensure free tests are done in mohalla clinics and that medicines are available to provide in hospitals and clincis”.

“I would like to tell you on behalf of the CM that he is concerned about you. CM’s orders are like God’s instructions and we will comply with it,” Bharadwaj added.

Notably, the Health minister did not clarify as to how he received the orders from Kejriwal.
