Abducted At Gunpoint For Ransome, Faridabad Bank Manager rescued, 2 arrested

The team of Crime Branch-30 has arrested two accused in the case of kidnapping the bank manager by entering the house. An absconding accused is being searched. The main accused of kidnapping has turned out to be a former tenant of the victim’s family. The victim’s wife is a scientist in the Home Ministry. During the kidnapping, the victim’s friend was attacked with a hammer, while the weapon was pointed at his wife. ACP Crime Aman Yadav told a press conference on Wednesday that two kidnappers entered the house of the manager of a private bank working in Delhi from Sector-62 in Adarsh ​​Nagar police station area, kidnapped him at gunpoint and fled in his own car.

After receiving information about the incident, the police had registered a case at Adarsh ​​Nagar police station on the complaint of Sunita Meena, wife of the victim bank manager Satish Kumar. In this case, eight crime branches were set up to arrest the accused. Police have so far arrested the main accused Bhupender and Bhupender’s wife in this case. Police is busy searching for Ravinder, another accused cab driver and friend of the main accused.

Before evicting the accused, they also took the victim’s car keys and purse from the house. After this, Bhupender asked the victim Satish to drive the car at the point of a pistol on the driving seat. Whereas the second accused Ravinder left from there towards Delhi in his cab Swift Dezire. Before leaving the house, the accused also took the mobile phones of the victim’s wife and his friend with them. So that they cannot inform the police about the incident in time and they get a chance to escape.

Police sources said that the accused had tied the victim’s hands, eyes and mouth to escape from the police. Along with this, he had placed external sun-protecting covers on the rear seat of the car so that no one could see the victim. The accused left Gurgaon and took the victim to Bilaspur, Himachal, 50 kilometers on the highway. After which he switched on the victim’s phone and threw it away to deceive the police. After which the accused returned from there overnight.


On Wednesday, the accused reached near Kelly Bypass to drop the victim and collect the ransom money. The crime branch team was chasing this car from Hodal itself. Here the victim’s wife left the house with Rs 4 lakh in cash. The team of Crime Branch-30 was also keeping an eye on him from behind. At Cali Bypass, the victim’s wife gave a bag full of notes to Bhupender whereas Bhupender handed over Satish to his wife. After which, as soon as Bhupender proceeded in the cab with his wife and child, the team of Crime Branch-30 arrested them.

After being apprehended, Bhupendra confessed to the police that he had previously rented a room in Satish’s residence, living there around four months ago. According to police, he worked with his friend Ravindra to devise the plan to kidnap the bank manager for ransom.
