Ajay Devgan’s Maidan is getting praise, but it is losing the race to BMCM, know how much it will earn.
Ajay Devgan’s sports drama film ‘Maidan’ has finally been released on the occasion of Eid. This is the biopic of Syed Abdul Rahim, known as the Golden Boy of Indian football. The film is getting a lot of praise from the audience and critics, but in the race of earning on the opening day, it has lagged behind ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’.
Like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s film, advance booking of ‘Maidan’ has also been breathless. While some paid preview shows of the film were held from Wednesday evening, it is natural that the opening day earnings will be affected due to this.
Beyond the game of football lies an extraordinary tale of determination, sacrifice, and triumph. 🇮🇳🏅

The budget of ‘Maidan’ made under the direction of Amit Sharma is Rs 100 crore. The film has been released on around 2000 screens across the country. According to the report of sacnilk, before the release the film has taken advance booking of only Rs 1.11 crore.
Whereas despite Eid on Thursday, the audience occupancy in the morning and afternoon shows also remained between 10-12%. However, the number of viewers in the evening and night shows is expected to increase. But despite this, ‘Maidan’ seems to be lagging behind ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ on the first day.
‘Maidan’ has collected Rs 2.60 crore from paid preview shows on Wednesday. This film is completely dependent on word of mouth. The way the film is being praised, it may have a positive impact on its earnings in the future. However, one problem is that the audience has seen many sports drama films in the last few years. Secondly, ‘Maidan’ has been postponed several times and has now been released. In such a situation, there is less hype about the film. However, the condition of ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ is also not very good.
