Arvind Kejriwal’s PA bibhav Kumar arrested, Delhi Police action on Swati Maliwal assault case

Arvind Kejriwal’s PA bibhav Kumar has been arrested for assaulting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. On May 13, Swati Maliwal had accused bibhav of assault in the CM House. After which the police has arrested bibhav today from Kejriwal’s house. According to Delhi Police sources, bibhav Kumar will be produced in Tis Hazari Court today itself and will seek remand. According to the latest information, lawyer Karan Sharma has reached Civil Line police station for Vibhav.

Earlier, Delhi Police had taken bibhav with them for questioning. After some time he was arrested. Sources say that many questions related to the events at the time when this incident took place will be asked to Vibhav.


Before this, bibhav Kumar had mailed to Delhi Police and written that he is ready to cooperate in every investigation. Bibhav Kumar also wrote that he came to know through the media that an FIR has been lodged against him. Bibhav Kumar said, ‘No notice has been given to me yet. My appeal is that Delhi Police should also take cognizance of my complaint.

In the FIR lodged by Swati Maliwal, it has been said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s aide Bibhav Kumar kicked Swati Maliwal several times and slapped her about seven-eight times. Even when Swati started shouting for help, Bibhav did not stop. Alleged that Bibhav attacked her with kicks on her chest, stomach and lower parts of the body. On Swati’s complaint, Delhi Police had registered an FIR on Thursday, in which they had made Bibhav Kumar an accused.
