Assembly By-Polls Result 2024, Counting of votes for the by-elections held on 13 assembly seats in 7 states is in the final stages. As per the trends and results so far, the INDIA alliance parties have performed brilliantly. Congress registered good victories in Himachal and Uttarakhand whereas Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC retained its strongholds. BJP has barely got two victories.
The results of all three seats in Himachal Pradesh have come. Congress won Dehra and Nalagarh, while Hamirpur seat went to BJP. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s wife Kamlesh Thakur won the Dehra seat. At the same time, BJP candidate Ashish Sharma has won from Hamirpur. Congress is ahead in Nalagarh.
Independent Shankar Singh has won the Rupauli Assembly by-election. He defeated his nearest rival Kaladhar Mandal of JDU by 8211 votes. RJD candidate Bima Bharti stood third.
The ruling BJP has suffered a setback in the by-elections held for two assembly seats in Uttarakhand. Congress has won both the seats. Congress’s Qazi Nizamuddin defeated BJP’s Kartar Singh Bhadana from Mangalore seat in Haridwar district. Former minister Rajendra Singh Bhandari had to face defeat on Badrinath seat. He was defeated by Lakhpat Singh Butola of Congress.

BJP won the Amarwada seat of Madhya Pradesh (Live Amarwada By Election Result), but this victory was not as easy as it seemed. At the beginning of the counting of votes, BJP candidate Kamlesh Shah was leading, then lagged behind and in the end could register victory by about 3000 votes.
TMC has won three out of four seats in West Bengal (Raiganj, Ranaghat South and Bagda). Its candidate is leading in Maniktala seat. TMC’s victory is especially a blow to BJP.
Mohinder Bhagat of Aam Aadmi Party has won one-sided victory. Till the 11th round of counting, Mohinder Bhagat had got 46,064 votes. At the same time, Congress candidate Surinder Kaur got 14,668 votes and BJP’s Sheetal Angural got 15,393 votes
