Australian-W Defeated India-W to win the series 2-1

Australian-W Defeated India-W team, they won the three-match series by 2-1 at DR. DY Patil Sports Academy Stadium, Navi Mumbai. Indian-W won the first match of this series after that Australian team won the second match with 6 wickets. Today Indian team had a good start, but they repeated the same mistake from their last match. Annabel Sutherland with the Ball and Alyssa Healy with the bat Destroyed Indian team.

The Australian women’s team won the toss captain Alyssa Healy decided to bowl first at DR. DY Patil Sports Academy Stadium, Navi Mumbai. Megan Schutt starts the bowling attack for the Australian-W team. Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana start for team India. Indian openers started well and had a good partnership of 39 runs. Deepti Sharma did not repeat his second match performance she got out with the score of 14 runs off 18 balls caught by Tahlia McGrath ball by Georgia Wareham. Amanjot Kaur’s score was not out 17 runs off 14 balls with a strike rate of 121.43 and Pooja Vastrakar’s score was not out 7 runs off 2 balls with a strike rate of 350.

Annabel Sutherland Took 2 wickets and gave 12 runs in 4 overs with an economy of 3.0. Georgia Wareham took 2 wickets and gave 24 runs in 4 overs with an economy of 6.0 Ashleigh Gardner took 1 wicket and gave 40 runs with an economy of 10.0. Megan Schutt took 1 wicket and gave 36 runs in 4 overs with an economy of 9 runs. Kim Garth was wicketless and gave 31 runs with an economy of 7.75. India-W team scored 147/6 in 20 overs and set a target of 148 runs in 20 overs for Aussie.

Australian Skipper Alyssa Healy and Beth Money came to open. Renuka Singh starts the bowling attack for team India. Australian openers played beautifully their partnership ended with a score of 85 runs Alyssa Healy hit 9 fours and 1 six Deepti Sharma took her wicket by LBW Alyssa Healy Scored 55 runs off 38 balls with a Strike rate of 144.74. Beth Money scored 52 runs off 45 balls and she remains not out in this match she finished the match by scoring a boundary and completing her half-century. Phoebe Litchfield scored not out 17 runs off 13 balls. Deepti Sharma took 1 wicket, and Pooja Vastrakar took 2 wickets. Australia won this match with 7 wickets. Annabel Sutherland won the Player of the Match award for her Balling performance. Alyssa Healy received the Player of the series Award.

The Australian team won the series 2-1. Indian-W was disappointed again with their batting and balling performances. Batting Middle order did not play well in this series and balling performance was also not at the best level.
