Singhvi had said during cross-examination that the accused woman has a child, whose examinations are going to be held in April. It is not that the child is in the lap or is small. His age is 16 years. Mother has moral and emotional support. There is shock and a strange silence over what has happened. Singhvi had said, at the age of 16, that child has got many subjects. The mother’s vision cannot be fulfilled by the father or sister. The emotional support of a mother cannot be fulfilled even by an aunt either.
During the court hearing, Abhishek Manu Singhvi had further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given a lecture on All India Radio regarding the pressure of examination. This pressure is not an imaginary phenomenon. If we are allowed to stay with our son for a month then the sky will not fall. There are no urgent inquiries that cannot wait for a few weeks. During this, the Enforcement Directorate said in the court that the concerned accused is one of the main people giving bribes. She is not only a part of arranging the bribe in advance but is also a beneficiary through Indo Spirit.
