Big success for NIA in Rameswaram Cafe Blast case, main conspirator and terrorist who carried out the blast arrested, NIA has got a big success in the Rameshwaram cafe blast case. NIA team has arrested fugitives Abdul Mathin Taha and Musavir Hussain Shajib by tracing their hideout near Kolkata.
Musawir Hussain Shajib is the accused who planted the IED in the cafe and Abdul Mathin Taha is the person who planned the blast. He was the one who had planned the blast and then escaped.
This morning itself, the NIA team traced the absconding accused near Kolkata. The team had received information that both the accused were hiding their identities. This action of NIA has been done with coordination between the central intelligence agencies and the state police agencies of West Bengal, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala.
The NIA had earlier announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for anyone providing information about the attacker in connection with the Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bengaluru. The agency also stressed that the confidentiality of the identity of the informants will be maintained.

The agency had also released a photograph of the attacker, taken from CCTV camera footage, carrying a bag at The Rameshwaram Café, a popular café in the Brookfield area of Bengaluru.
In the picture released by NIA, the attacker was seen wearing a cap, black pants and black shoes.
The central agency suspects that they may also have links with ISI. Let us tell you that 10 people were seriously injured in this incident. Here, senior BJP leader and co-incharge of Bengal Amit Malviya has said that this clearly shows that Bengal has become a safe haven for terrorists.
