Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this period, many global issues and the need for change were discussed between the two. Bill Gates is on a tour of India and this meeting took place in Delhi.
After this meeting, Bill Gates wrote on his social media handle X, ‘Meeting Prime Minister Modi is always inspiring. There was a lot to discuss with him.
We discussed innovations in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Women-led Development, DPI (Income), Agriculture, Health and Climate Adaptation and ‘What can the world learn from India’.
Whereas PM Modi described this meeting as ‘wonderful’. He wrote in his X post, ‘It is always a pleasure to discuss sectors that are in the interest of our planet and empowering millions of people around the world.’
Earlier, Bill Gates met Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar. After the meeting, Bill Gates wrote on X, ‘I enjoyed talking about India’s G-20 presidency and women’s economic empowerment. He said, India plays an important role in promoting cross-country cooperation through knowledge and technology transfer.
