Bomb threat in Delhi schools, Bomb threat created sensation in schools of Delhi and NCR on Wednesday morning. Many schools have received threatening emails, in which threats have been made to bomb the school. After this there is panic in the police administration. Schools were immediately closed. Schools have been evacuated. Bomb disposal squads are investigating in schools.
According to the latest information, searches of many schools have also been completed but nothing suspicious has been found. The police is busy finding the IP address of the mail. Delhi’s Education Minister Atishi has said that till now nothing has been found in any school. We are in constant touch with the police and schools. Parents and citizens are requested not to panic.

Nearly 100 schools in Delhi-NCR received bomb threats via email on May 1, warning them of bombs on their premises, news agency ANI reported. Police have initiated search operations following the alerts. Initial investigations suggest multiple Delhi schools have received similar emails of bomb threats.

Before schools in Delhi and NCR, airports across the country had received threats last month. Last Monday, Jaipur International Airport and some other airports in the country had received a threatening email. After receiving the email, an intensive search operation was conducted at the airport. This was the fourth time in the last four months that Jaipur airport had received a bomb threat. Earlier, the airport had received threat emails on February 16 and December 27. On both the occasions, security agencies and police did not find any suspicious object during investigation.

Delhi Government’s Directorate of Education has issues advisory to schools after the hoax call directing the school authorities to inform immediately to the concerned DDE (District/ Zone) and the Delhi Police.
The advisory said, “If anything unwanted is noticed, then the same should be informed immediately to the concerned DDE (District/ Zone) and the Delhi Police. The School Authorities should inform parents and concerned Law enforcement authorities to initiate appropriate measures regarding safety and security of the students in the event of any impeding threats or challenges, well in time.”
