Plot of Salaar Part 1

Salaar tells a story that spans different periods, mixing historical details with modern conflicts. In 1985, Deva(Prabhas) and Vardha Mannar (Prithviraj Sukumaran) shared a deep friendship in Khansaar, ruled by Vardha’s father, Raja Mannar. Things take a dramatic turn when Deva’s life is spared in exchange for Vardha’s land, and Deva promises to return when summoned by Vardha in case of emeregency.

Jump to 2017, where the story introduces Aadhya(Shruti Hasan), the daughter of a wealthy businessman named Krishnakanth. A series of events unfold as Aadhya’s life becomes connected with Deva’s, revealing a complex web of conspiracies, abductions, and a mysterious link to Khansaar’s troubled past.

The historical part of Khansaar dates back to 1127, with dacoits from Mannar, Shouryaanga, and Ghaniyaar tribes consolidating their influence. The story covers key moments, including the independence era in 1947, the autonomy pact signed by Siva Mannar, and the power struggle after he died in 1985. Raja Mannar’s ruthless rise to power, the massacre of the Shouryaanga tribe, and the intricate relationships among the ruling factions set the stage for a complex tale.
