CBI K. Kavita arrested, will appear in Rouse Avenue Court, CBI has arrested Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) leader K in a corruption case related to the Delhi Excise Policy scam. Kavita was arrested on Thursday. Officials informed about this. He told that former Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter K. Kavita is in Tihar jail after she was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). CBI arrested her from there. After her arrest, she will be produced in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court.
CBI officials inside the jail after taking permission from a special court. Kavita was interrogated, she was questioned about WhatsApp chats recovered from the phone of her co-accused and documents related to the land deal.
It is alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was given Rs 100 crore as bribe for changing the excise policy. It is reported that CBI officers had gone to Tihar Jail on Saturday to interrogate the BRS leader in this case. The ED had arrested him on March 15 from his residence in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Let us tell you that his judicial custody has been extended till April 23. ED told before the court that BRS MLC K. Kavita is accused of attempting to influence witnesses and tampering with evidence.

ED claims that K Kavitha allegedly conspired with Aam Aadmi Party leaders. Under which around Rs 100 crore was paid to AAP leaders to get benefits in Delhi Liquor Policy. K Kavitha is being said to be part of the alleged South lobby. In the Delhi Liquor Policy case, ED has so far raided 245 locations across the country and 15 people including Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Sinha and Vijay Nair have been arrested.
