Naidu is taking the oath for the third time this year as Chief Minister. He previously became chief minister twice which makes him a prominent leader. First Term (1995-2004): Naidu became the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 1995 after a successful coup against NTR. During his tenure, he focused on technology and infrastructure development, making Hyderabad a major IT hub.

Second Term (2014-2019): After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and the creation of Telangana, Naidu became the first Chief Minister of the residual Andhra Pradesh. His term focused on rebuilding the state, particularly the new capital city, Amaravati.
