Chennaiyin FC VS Kerala Blasters football match ended with Chennaiyin winning 1-0 against Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League match at Marine Arena. Kerala Blasters Starting Eleven

Kerala Blasters coach Ivan Vukomanović started with Sachin Suresh in the goal. Marko Lešković and Miloš Drinčić were playing in defense as center-backs. Sandeep Singh plays in the right side-back and Naocha Singh in the left side-back position. Jeakson Singh Thounaojam and Danish Farooq playing as centre-midfielder. Daisuke Sakai plays in the right wing and Mohammed Aimen plays in the left wing. Fedor Černych and Ishan Pandita playing in the center-forward position. Kerala Blasters coach Ivan Vukomanović used a 4-4-2 formation for this match.

First Half

Kerala Blaster was the favorite to win this match against Chennaiyin F.C.  Kerala lost their last two matches and Chennaiyin F.C. lost their last three matches in Indian Super League. In the Early Minutes of the match, both teams look to settle down and take control of the tempo of the match.

In the eighth minute, Rafael Crivellaro had a chance he took a shot from outside the box of Kerala Blasters but his shot was stopped by Sachin Suresh and he hurled the ball into a direct attack for Ishan Pandita who found Daisuke Sakai. Daisuke Sakai took a shot but it was off the target.

In the 17th minute, Chennaiyin F.C on the attack, Rafael Crivellaro played a looping pass to Rahim Ali who made a run toward the goal Sachin Suresh dangerously comes out of the box to take ball off Rahim Ali. Sachin Suresh had a great blocked.

In the 34th minute, Ninthoinganba Meetei crossed the ball into the box from the right flank of the box. Sachin Suresh gets to the ball first but only just with Farukh Choudhary committing for a header. Both players collided with each other. Sachin Suresh Picked up an Injury he was substituted by Karanjit Singh.

Half Time ended with 0-0 draw. Chennaiyin FC had a more ball possession but they were not able to score a goal in this half.

Second Half

Both teams struggle to create clear-cut chances to score a goal. Both teams lost possession in the final third. In the 51st minute, Connor Shields crossed the ball into the box from the right flanks and found Farukh Choudhary who headed the ball and Karanjit Singh made a save.

In the 61st minute, Aakash Sangwan played a one-two with Farukh Chaudhary moved inside the box, and took a low shot into the net. Chennaiyin F.C. took a one-goal lead in this match. In the 68th minute, Karanjit Singh stops the shot of Rahim Ali.


In the 81st minute, Ankit Mukherjee stops Karanjit Singh from taking a quick goal Kick. The Referee showed his second yellow card and he was out of the match now Chennaiyin F.C. had to play the rest of the match with 10 men.

Chennaiyin F.C. starts playing with a 4-4-1 Formation and throwing men at defense to make a blockchain. They gave no chance to Kerala Blaster to score a goal and they won 1-0 at Marine Arena.
