CISF jawan posted at Delhi Metro station commits suicide by shooting himself, police engaged in investigation

CISF jawan posted at Delhi’s Paschim Vihar West metro station committed suicide. The CISF jawan shot himself with his service rifle, resulting in his death. The deceased CISF jawan has been identified as Sahare Kishore, a resident of Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. He was posted in Delhi Metro from the year 2022.

CISF jawan committed suicide by shooting himself on Thursday morning. When the constable shot himself, he was posted at Paschim Vihar West metro station on the Green Line of the metro.


Police officer said that around 7 o’clock Nangloi metro station police received information about the suicide of a CISF jawan posted at Paschim Vihar West metro station. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. Police called crime and forensic team to the spot. The team inspected the spot and collected some evidence from there.

On Thursday morning at 6.39 am, he committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle. Sahare Kishore was originally from Gadchiroli, Maharashtra and was posted here since the year 2022. He lived with his family in Narela. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem.

No suicide note has been found from the constable, due to which the reasons have not been revealed. The police is investigating the reasons for the suicide by interrogating family members and colleagues. Police are trying to find out the reasons behind the suicide.
