Crystal Palace VS Everton:  Everton drew 1-1 at home against Crystal Palace

First Half

Everton lost last week against Manchester City they look to win this match. Crystal Palace also needs a win badly they lost the last two matches in the Premier League. In the early minutes of the game Crystal Palace built pressure on Everton. Everton defending very well early in a match.

In the 12th minute of the match, Crystal Palace was on the attack, Philippe Mateta played a pass to Odsonne Édouard inside the box of Everton. Odsonne Édouard takes a low shot but it goes straight to Jordan Pickford.

In the 15th minute, Joel Ward’s bad clearance from the back almost cost Crystal Palace. Abdoulaye Doucouré found the ball in his way but his first time shot went wide to the goal. In the 23rd Minute, Everton made their moves to attack. They find a free place in the left flank for Dwight McNeil who delivers an inch-perfect cross in the box for Dominic Calvert-Lewin whose header was not in the target it was an awful miss for Everton to score a goal.

Everton wasted two to three chances in the middle of the half-time. In the 34th minute, Daniel Muñoz rolled a ball for Jefferson Lerma who was inside the box taking a time shot but its well over the bar. In the 38th minute, Philippe Mateta’s goal-bound header was saved by Ashley Young on the line. Philippe Mateta’s efforts in the 40th minute of the match were blocked by James Tarkowski.

The First Half ended with no goals both teams came close to scoring but their bad finishing let them down. The First half scoreline in Goodison Park was 0-0.

Second Half

Both teams Did not make any changes during the Half Time Break. Both sides looking to keep up their Attacking Endeavour. Both teams looking to control the tempo of the match by keeping the ball in possession.

In the 56th minute, The Visitors were on the attack, Tyrick Mitchell had a one-on-one with the Keeper he looking to dink the ball over the head of the keeper but Jordan Pickford tall tough and made a crucial Save for his team.


In the 66th minute, Philippe Mateta played a pass to Jordan Ayew who took a shot from 25 yards distance from the goal and it went into the net. Crystal Palace takes a 1-0 lead over Everton.

Everton desperately looking for an Equalizer in the 84th minute, Dwight McNeil swung the ball into the box from the corner and Amadou Onana (substitute) rose above the rest and headed the ball into the net.
