A trivial matter in Delhi leads to Double murder of father-son. The shocking incident near Kumhar Chowk in Chirag Delhi as a 55-year-old man named Jai Bhagwan and his son Saurabh (22 years) were fatally stabbed amid a dispute with neighbors. They both were cable workers.
A sensational case of murder of a father and son by stabbing them with a knife has come to light in the Malviya Nagar police station area of South Delhi. The victims had a fight with their neighbors over a trivial matter. After this, the accused attacked the father and son with a knife. It is being told that both father Jai Bhagwan (55) and son Saurabh (22) were stabbed more than 20 times with knives. Malviya Nagar police station has registered the case and started identifying the accused. Police are examining the CCTV footage of the incident site.

South District Police Deputy Commissioner Ankit Chauhan said that information was received at 8:00 pm that there was a knife attack near Kumhar Chowk Chirag Delhi. After the information, when the police reached the spot, it was found that the injured Jai Bhagwan and his son Saurabh were taken to the hospital. Both were declared dead in the hospital.
During the investigation, the police found that the victims had a fight with their neighbors over a trivial issue. After this, the stabbing started.
Many cases of murder, attempt to murder, robbery and Arms Act etc. were already registered against Jai Bhagwan and he was a declared scoundrel of the area. After the incident, senior police officers had reached the spot late in the night and the accused were being identified. The police had detained more than 10 people from the spot.

The police said that a forensic team inspected the spot and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. A preliminary investigation suggests that the prime reason behind the murder was rivalry.
“We have registered a case, and a probe has been initiated into the same,” they added.
According to sources, Jai Bhagwan used to do cable work and was already having a rivalry with someone in the area. The family of the slain father-son duo alleged that the accused had pelted stones at their house earlier also. A complaint about the stone pelting was made to the police several times, but the police did not take any action, alleged the family. According to the police, the double murder is a case of rivalry. The police are claiming to have caught all the people involved in the murder.
DCP Ankit Chauhan of South Delhi district, talking to the media during his visit to the spot of the crime said that after receiving the call, the police immediately reached the spot. “Police are interrogating the family members. We will soon catch all the accused involved in the murder. For this we have formed five teams,” he said.
However, it is not yet clear what this fight was about, nor have the killers been identified yet. The investigation of the case is going on and a search operation is being conducted to catch the killers,” he said.
The visuals of the incident have also surfaced wherein some people could see thrashing and stabbing a man while another could be seen lying beside him in a pool o blood. The victim is seen being dragged by some men leaving blood trail behind.
Two men could also be seen hitting or stabbing the person, presumably the father, who was profusely bleeding.
