East Indians look like Chinese and South Africans, Sam Pitroda again gave a controversial statement. Congress leader Sam Pitroda has once again said something which has sparked controversy. Actually, while talking about the diversity of India, Sam Pitroda said that in India, people in the east look like Chinese while people in the south look like Africans. Whereas people in the West look Arabic and North Indians look fair. Recently, Sam Pitroda had commented on inheritance tax, there was a lot of controversy over that statement of Pitroda.

Sam Pitroda gave this statement in an interview to the English newspaper The Statesman. He said, ‘We can keep together a country as diverse as India, where people from the East look like Chinese, people from the West look like Arabs, people from the North look like whites and South Indians look like Africans.
I stand corrected. I am now in favour of the incoming govt levying an inheritance tax on all Indians, so that the money collected can be given to those who have inherited Sam Pitroda’s genes. They deserve every bit of sympathy, in cash or kind.

It doesn’t matter; we are all sisters and brothers. Pitroda said that people of different regions in India have different customs, food, religion, language, but the people of India respect each other. The Congress leader said that the people of the country have lived in a pleasant environment for 75 years, barring a few fights, people can live together.
BJP leaders have also started targeting Sam Pitroda’s statement. Taking aim at Pitroda’s statement, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote in a social media post, ‘Sam Bhai, I am from the North East and I look like an Indian. We are a diverse country, we may look different, but we are all one. Understand a little about our country.
