Former Deputy CM of Bihar Sushil Modi lost his battle with cancer. On Monday night, news came that former Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi is no more. He breathed his last in AIIMS hospital, Delhi. About 6 months ago, Sushil Modi himself had informed on social media platform X that he is suffering from cancer, which has been undergoing treatment for a long time.
Sushil Modi was battling throat cancer. This disease gradually reached his lungs and due to this he was having difficulty in speaking. In such a situation, the treatment of this disease was going on in AIIMS, Delhi.
Bharatiya Janata Party celebrated its foundation day on 3 April last month. On this special occasion, BJP MP Sushil Modi also congratulated the party. He wrote on his X handle through a picture that congratulations and best wishes to all the workers and countrymen on the occasion of the foundation day of Bharatiya Janata Party. Even at that time people did not know that he was suffering from cancer.

Just after 3 days later, Sushil Modi told on his X handle that he is suffering from cancer. Sushil Modi wrote that I have been struggling with cancer for the last 6 months. Now I felt the time had come to tell people. I will not be able to do anything in the Lok Sabha elections. Everything has been told to the PM. Always grateful and always dedicated to the country, Bihar and the party. After this it seemed as if the political world got a big shock. People were praying for his speedy recovery, but today destiny had other plans and Sushil Modi could not win this battle.
