Indian team won the toss Indian skipper Rohit Sharma decided to bowl. Afghanistan skipper Ibrahim Zadran (captain) and Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s opening pair came to bat for Afghanistan. Arshdeep Singh came to attack with the ball for the Indian team. Gurbaz and Zadran tried to give a steady start to the visitor. On the 3rd Rahmanullah Gurbaz tried to clear the mid-on boundary but did not connect the ball properly Shivam Dube caught the ball, and Ravi Bishnoi got the first wicket. Gurbaz scored 14 runs off 9 balls.
