India VS England test match-4, on day 1 England won the toss and elected to bat first in JSCA International Stadium Complex Ranchi. India leading 2-1 in 5 test match series and the Visitors looking to level the series with a win in this test match. Akash Deep made his test debut for team India he picked three wickets so far.

Joe Root scored his 31st test hundred (10th against Team India) and is still not out at the score of 106 runs. Ollie Robinson with him on the crease scored 31 runs. At the end of the day England scored 302/7 in 90 overs.

In the 9th over, Akash Deep Bowls good length delivery on the top of the stumps to Ben Duckett. Ben Duckett froze in the crease throws the bat toward the ball but the ball took the edge of the bat and Dhruv Jurel took a catch behind the wicket. Ben Duckett Scored 11 runs off 21 balls.

In the Same over, Akash Deep Bowls in a good length area to Ollie Pope who moved across to play a flick shot but missed the ball and the ball hit the pad. The umpire gave not out Team India took a review and all three signals are red in ball tracking Ollie Pope Had to go to the pavilion Ollie Pope scored 0 runs off 2 balls.

Zak Crawley and Joe Root Had a 10-run partnership for the third wicket. In the 12th over, Akash Deep bowls and hits the length hard to the right-hander Zak Crawley. Zak Crawley is stuck in the crease and the ball goes through the bat and the pads and hits the tops of the wicket.  Zak Crawley scored 42 runs off 42 balls.

Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow had a 52-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Jonny Bairstow played with the BazBall Strategy. In the 22nd over, Ravichandran Ashwin bowls on the middle of the leg stumps to Jonny Bairstow. Jonny Bairstow goes down to play a sweep shot and completely misses the ball and the ball hits the pads. Umpire gave not out but India took a review of three reds signals in the Ball tracking system Umpire changed his decision. Jonny Bairstow scored 38 runs off 35 balls.

In the 25th over, Ravindra Jadeja bowls, a quicker one on a fuller length on the middle stumps to Ben Stokes. Ben Stokes moved on their back foot and he thinks the ball missed the stumps but the ball made contact with his right foot in front of the stumps and the Umpire gave out and Ben Stokes moved towards the Pavilion. Ben Stokes Scored 3 runs off 6 balls.

Ben Foakes and Joe Root Built a partnership of 113 runs for the Sixth Wicket. In the 68th over, Mohammad Siraj Bowls Swinging delivery on the middle Stumps to Ben Foakes.
