India won the 4th test match beating England by 5 wickets

India won the 4th test match and sealed the 5 test match series 3-1 in Ranchi. England scored 353 runs all out in the first innings of the 4th test with the help of 122 not-out runs by Joe Root. Ravindra Jadeja took 4 wickets in this innings.

India had a shaky start they lost India Skippers early. On day 2 India was down 219/7 and visitors had the upper hand in this test match. The day 3 Match turned upside down Dhruv Jurel scored 90 runs and 73 runs from Yashasvi Jaiswal helped India to score 307 all out in 2nd Innings.

Shoaib Bashir took 5 wickets and Tom Hartley took 3 wickets for England. In the third inning, England’s batting order fell like a house of cards only Zak Crawley showed some fight against team India’s Bowling line. He scored 60 valuable runs for team England and Jonny Bairstow scored 30.

Ravichandran Ashwin had a fifer in this innings, Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets, and Ravindra Jadeja got 1 wicket. England scored 145 all out and India needed 192 runs to win the fourth test match in 4th innings of the match. At the end of the day, Team India Scored 40 runs in 8 overs without losing any wickets India needed 152 runs now to win this match.

India won the match in 4th day Rohit Sharma scored 55 runs and Shubman Gill scored 52 runs. India chased a total of 192 after the lunch of the fourth day in 61 overs. India Won the Match with 5 wickets.

India VS England 4th test match: India won the 4th test match by 5 wickets

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma came to continue Indian Innings. James Anderson had the first over on the 4th day. Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal had an 84-run for the first Wickets. In the 18th over Joe Root bowls a slower delivery in the off Stumps to Yashasvi Jaiswal. Yashasvi Jaiswal looks to go over the top of covers with the swing of the bat but the ball takes an outside edge of the bat and James Anderson took a flying catch at the point. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 37 runs off 44 balls.

In the 26th over, Tom Hartley bowls a fuller length delivery to Rohit Sharma who tried to defend but the ball took the edge of the bat and Ben Foakes took an easy catch behind the wickets. Rohit Sharma scored 55 runs off 81 balls.


In the 27th over, Shoaib Bashir bowls a fuller-length delivery in off stumps to Rajat Patidar. Rajat Patidar wants to block but the ball gets inside the edge of the bat onto the pads and Ollie Pope took an amazing catch in the first Slip. Rajat Patidar scored 0 runs off 6 balls.

In the 39th over, Shoaib Bashir bowls full-toss around the middle to Ravindra Jadeja. Ravindra Jadeja came forward and tried to play a flick shot but he hit straight in the air and Jonny Bairstow picked an Easy Catch in mid-wicket. Ravindra Jadeja Scored 4 runs off 33 balls.

In the very next ball Shoaib Bashir Bowls full around the middle to Sarfaraj Khan. Sarfaraj came forward to defend the ball gets the slightest of the inside edge onto the pads the ball went in the air and Ollie Pope at the Short leg took it. Sarfaraj Khan scored 0 runs off 1 balls.

At this point, India was 120/5 and still needed 72 runs to win this match. Dhruv Jurel and Shubman Gill played sensibly and India Chased the target of 192 runs in 61 overs. Dhruv Jurel Scored 39 runs off 77 balls and Shubman Gill scored not out 52 runs off 124 balls. India won the match by 5 wickets.
