First-half
In the early minutes of the game, both teams tried to keep the possession so far this game is looking even. Jordan now looking for goals they are putting pressure on the Iraqi defensive unit. In the 20th minute of the game, Jordan was on the attack Ali Olwan cut inside the plenty area from the left side. He plays a one-two pass with Yazan Al-Naimat and fires a shot and Iraq’s Goalkeeper Jalal Hassan makes a great save to push the ball behind for a corner.

In the 22nd minute, Hussein Ali fired a shot from outside the box ball went wide from the post, and Jordan’s goalkeeper Yazid Abu Layla was completely beaten by this attempt. In the 28th minute, Ali Olwan received the over-top ball and beat the offside trap he ran through the two Iraqi Defenders and took a shot but Jalal Hassan made himself big and made a save with his chest. In stoppage time, a loose pass by an Iraq midfielder pounced by Yazan Al-Naimat who ran past the two Iraqi defenders and chipped the ball over Jalal Hassan into the net. Jordan takes the lead. The first half ended with a 1-0 scoreline.
Second- Half
In the early minutes of the second half, Iraq kept the ball and created pressure on Jordan’s defensive unit. Yazid Abu Layla made saves to keep the lead alive. In the 68th minute, Ali Jasim swung the ball into the box, Saad Natiq got away from his marker and scored a goal from header Iraq back on level terms. In the 76th minute, Merchas Doski (substitute) from the left wing swung a cross into the Jordan box Defender got the header but the ball fell in the back post for Aymen Hussein who fired a shot and scored a goal. Iraq made a comeback now leading 2-1 in the scoreline.

Aymen Hussein Received a second yellow card for excessive celebration and Iraq is now with 10 men in the field. Jordan now trying hard to draw levels. Jalal Hasan made some saves to protect their lead. In stoppage time Musa Al-Taamari takes a shot from inside the plenty area Jalal Hasan makes a save but Yazan Al-Arab scored a goal in the rebound.
Jordan drew level. In the very last minute of the stoppage time, Nizar Mahmoud Ahmed Al Rashdan took a curling shot from the outside of the box and beat Hasan Jalal to score a winner.
