The film stars South superstar Prabhas in the lead role along with Amitabh Bachchan. Whereas, the female leads are Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. All of them are counted among the expensive stars of the film industry.

kalki 2898 AD is an upcoming 2024 Indian epic science-fiction dystopian film, co-written and directed by Nag Ashwin. It is produced by C. Aswani Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies. The film is produced in the Telugu film industry, and is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages. It is scheduled to release on May 9, 2024.
