Czech Republic’s Krystyna Pyszkova crowned Miss World 2024, The grand finale of the 71st Miss World 2024 took place on 9 March at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. After 28 years, India got the opportunity to host this wonderful event. It was co-hosted by Karan Johar and Miss World 2013 Megan Young of the Philippines. This time the title of Miss World was won by Miss Czech Republic.
This time the title of Miss World 2024 is on the head of Christina Pijkova of Czech Republic. Whereas, Yasmina of Lebanon has been the first runner up. Krystyna Pyszkova was crowned Miss World 2023 by Karolina Bielawska of Poland. Sini Shetty, representing India in the Miss World finale, made it to the top 8. After this she was out of the top 4.
Miss Trinidad and Tobago, Miss Botswana, Miss Czech Republic and Miss Lebanon had made their place in the top 4. Singer Shaan added color to the grand finale of Miss World 2024 by singing his song ‘Tu Aaj Ki Nari’. Let us tell you that this song has been composed by the singer himself. Apart from Shaan, Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar also performed in the finale. Neha Kakkar sang the song ‘Kala Chashma’, while Tony added color to the gathering by singing ‘Dheeme Dheeme’.
This time Miss World Finale 2024 has been judged by a panel of 12 judges.
The panel includes Bollywood actors Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde, CEO of Miss World Organization Julia Evelyn Morley CBE, Amruta Fadnavis, Sajid Nadiadwala, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, India TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma, Jamil Said, and Vineet Jain as the judges for this year’s edition.

India’s Sini Shetty was successful in making it to the top 8 in the Miss World 2024 competition but she could not win the title. Karan Johar asked Sini a question to which he answered with full confidence.
This year, Sini Shetty, who was born in Mumbai, was also a part of this competition. She gave a tough fight to the other contestants but even after this she could not win the title of Miss World. It was sad for her to lose even after the contest being so close in her hometown itself, but she also impressed everyone with her beauty, wit and confidence. Sini Shetty was competing with 120 different countries in this competition. On this special occasion, the model tried her best in the contest and got included in the list of top 8 contestants. During this, the host of the show asked her a question to which Sini answered with full confidence and impressed everyone.
Can you give some suggestions with the help of which women empowerment can be promoted through social media?
Responding to this, Sini said- Today social media is very powerful. Change and awareness can be spread through social media. Gen Z can take help in this and I myself am a part of Gen Z. Today, women can be promoted by spreading awareness through social media. In this sequence, I want to be a light, a medium and a force for change.
Talking about Sini, she belongs to Mumbai and her family belongs to South. He is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. He is also very active on social media and has around 400 thousand followers on Instagram.
Pyszkova was named Miss World 2024 on Saturday at a grand event here, which saw Indian contestant Sini Shetty only making it to the top 8. Miss Lebanon Yasmina Zaytoun emerged as the first runner-up.
