Newport County creates chances upfront to score a goal. Altay Bayındır makes a couple of great saves to deny any kind of comeback. In the 37th minute, Nick Townsend took a goal kick, Raphaël Varane headed down but the ball fell kindly for Bryn Morris who volleyed it from 25 yards into the top corner of the net. New Port County scored a goal. Half time was over Red Devils had 2-1 lead over the home side.
Second Half
In the 47th minute, Luke Shaw deflected a shot collected by Nick Townsend who sent the ball into United’s half Adam Lewis received the ball and played a low cross in the United box Will Evans turned the ball into the net from the near post Newport County Drew levels with Manchester United. Manchester United now putting more pressure on the home side they are dominating possession in the final third of their opponents. In the 68th minute, Luke Shaw’s curling shot hit the far post, but the ball fell kindly for Antony who scored a goal with an easy Tap in.

Manchester United looking for another goal to kill the game off. Newport County also had chances, but they did not convert it. In the stoppage time, Scott Mctominay and Garancho combined through the middle and later found Omari Forson who took a shot his shot was initially saved by Nick Townsend but Rasmus Højlund scored a goal in rebound. Manchester United won this game 4-2. Manchester United can face either Bristol City or Nottingham Forest in the 5th round of the FA Cup.
