On Monday Wigan Athletic host Manchester United at DW Stadium for the third round of FA Cup. Manchester United defeated Wigan Athletic 2-0. Erik Ten Hag’s Team professionally played the whole match. Second Half
The second half begins Wigan are trailing and Manu has a lead of one goal. Manchester United is still in search of another goal. Red Devils is in full control, but they are wasting chances like the first half. In the 74th minute, Liam Shaw caught Bruno Fernandes inside the box Referee of this match pointed at the spot Manchester won the plenty. Bruno Fernandes did not make any mistake putting the ball in the net.
Manchester United doubled their lead. Erik Ten Hag brings Facundo Pellistri, Hannibal Mejbri, Willy Kambwala, and Omari Forson from the bench. Manchester United keep the ball away from their net and Wigan players keep chasing. Rasmus Hojlund misses three big chances in the game. Marcus Rashford also misses some chances. Manchester took 33 shots of which 14 were on target as compared to Wigan Athletic had only 9 shots. Manchester United won the match 2-0 and through to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

In post-match Manchester United Coach Erik en Hag said. “In the first half, I think we created five or six very good chances. I think it was very good football. “We should have taken more, but if you don’t score you have to stay focused, and I think we did that tonight”.
