Nanakmatta Sahib’s Dera chief Tarsem Singh, Two assailants riding a motorcycle shot Kar Seva Dera chief Nanakmatta Sahib Baba Tarsem Singh in Nanakmatta town. The Dera chief was immediately taken to the hospital where he died. After the firing, there was chaos in the entire area. A large crowd of people has gathered outside the hospital.
Police say that the attackers have not been identified yet. The reason for the attack has also not been known. SIT has been formed to investigate this incident. The police will soon reach the attackers. As soon as information about the murder was received, SSP Manjunath TC and other police officers reached the spot. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is also likely to arrive.
Baba Tarsem Singh was sitting outside the Langar Hall after paying obeisance at the Gurudwara as usual around 6:30 in the morning. Meanwhile, two turbaned men who came on a bike shot Baba and ran away. Baba Tarsem Singh was shot twice on the stomach and neck. The servants present in the camp immediately took him to Khatima Hospital where he was declared died.
Police has been alerted after the murder of Baba Tarsem Singh in Udham Singh Nagar of Uttarakhand. Considering the sensitivity of the matter amid the election atmosphere, a SIT has been immediately constituted to investigate the murder. DGP Abhinav Kumar said that the two attackers who came on a bike have not been identified yet.

CCTV footage of this incident has surfaced. It is seen that Nanakmatta Sahib’s Kar Seva Dera chief Baba Tarsem Singh is sitting on a chair. Suddenly a bike comes from the front. The turbaned man sitting behind fired two bullets into Baba’s chest and neck. Baba Tarsem Singh fell down from the chair as soon as the bullet was fired. He was immediately taken to Khatima hospital where the doctors could not save him.
Baba Tarsem Singh was the Kar Seva Pramukh of Sri Nanakmatta Gurudwara for a long time. Local people told that he had dedicated his entire life in the reconstruction of this Gurudwara. He used to take all the responsibility of looking after the car service at Gurdwara Nanakmatta Sahib.
The work of providing langar and relief material is also done by the Gurudwara during any kind of disaster. It is being told that Baba Bachchan Singh, head of Dera Kar Seva of Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Delhi, is also reaching Udham Singh Nagar.
