It has been claimed to have made a sensational revelation of a big racket being run under the guise of an orphanage. National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) Chairman Priyank Kanungo himself has made such serious allegations. He told that the NCPCR team had reached an illegally run orphanage in Ashwath Nagar (Amarjyoti Layout), Bengaluru. NCPCR chief said that shocking revelations have been revealed in the conversation with the girls living in the orphanage.

Priyank Kanungo further said, ‘During the conversation, a girl living in the orphanage told that a high-ranking woman here arranges marriage in Kuwait. There I saw that girls are being prepared for marriage in Gulf countries. We suspect that a gang of human traffickers is involved in this, who send girls to Gulf countries on the pretext of marriage. Kanungo said in a post on social media platform X that the NCPRI team had conducted a surprise inspection of the orphanage run by woman Salma.

During the investigation, when it came to presenting the girls before the CWC, Salma and her boss Shameer called the goons who tried to create a fight. When the goons were controlled with the intervention of the police, one of the goons called someone on the phone and asked to make an announcement from the mosque to call the crowd.

On the advice of the police, keeping in mind the safety of the women officers, we have come to the police station. We are sitting in Sampigahalli Police Station, Bangalore North East, goons are waiting for us outside the police station, and the police have refused to file an FIR.
