Speaking at this public meeting, the Prime Minister strongly attacked the opposition alliance. Addressing the public, PM Modi said that your support is giving sleepless nights to DMK and Bharat Alliance. He said that yesterday, on the holy occasion of Puthandu, we launched our resolution letter. BJP’s resolution letter is being considered as Modi’s ‘letter of guarantee’.
Referring to the promises made in his manifesto, PM Modi said that we have guaranteed free medical treatment to senior citizens under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. For the fisheries sector, we have promised to promote seaweed farming and pearl farming.
Speaking further, the Prime Minister reiterated his promise made regarding Tamil language. He said that BJP has become the first choice of people who like Tamil language and culture. We have guaranteed globalization of Tamil language in our manifesto. We will bring Tamil heritage sites on the global tourism map. BJP has pledged to create Thiruvalluvar cultural centers across the world!
Prime Minister Modi further mentioned Katchatheevu Island in his address and said that Congress and DMK gave Katchatheevu Island to the neighboring country. For four decades, the people of Tamil Nadu and India were kept in the dark about the reality of the island’s isolation. Our fishermen are still suffering the punishment for the actions of DMK and Congress.
