A grand roadshow was held in Ahmedabad, Gujrat on Tuesday by PM Modi and UAE president, a huge crowd was gathered on both sides of the road to welcome both leaders. Leaders did the roadshow in a luxury car Range Rover and tight security can be witnessed around the leaders.
It was a 3-km-long roadshow, which was held from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to Indira Bridge in the city, began in the evening after the PM received the UAE President at the airport. Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place and stages have been set up for cultural performances on the route the two leaders jointly covered.
It is well known that Gujrat is rich in calcite, gypsum, manganese, lignite, bauxite, limestone, agate, feldspar, and quartz sand, and successful mining of these minerals is done in their specified areas. So, it becomes the hub for trade with foreign countries.
Clothes, pearls, machinery, distillation products, Iron and steel etecetera are exported to UAE from India, and UAE imports nuclear reactors, boilers, organic chemicals, and many more things to India. Therefore, it can be said that India has a great trading bond with the United Arab Emirates.
Even 34% of UAE’s population are of Indian origin so a kind of trust is there between both the leaders due to which India shares cordial relations with UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, popularly known by his initials as MBZ, is an Emirati royal and politician currently serving as the third president of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Abu Dhabi.
UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad on Tuesday evening to take part in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received him at the airport and the two held a roadshow.
PM Modi inaugurates the 10th edition of Vibrant Global Summit 2024 in Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar today. The theme of this year’s summit is ‘Gateway to the Future’ and includes the participation of 34 partner countries and 16 Partner organizations which include a prominent group of world leaders, including presidents, prime ministers, and CEOs of MNCs from many countries. From India Gautam Adani, Mukesh Ambani, and Natrajan Chandrashkekran will be among the scores of top Indian executives in Attendance.
The Prime Minister said that the participation of Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit as chief guest is special as it signifies the deepening ties between India and UAE.

In his speech, PM Modi described his vision for the next 25 years and assured that India will mark its place in the top three economies of the world. He also added that the world looks at India as a global growth engine.

CEPA Agreement – signed by PM Modi and UAE President
CEPA (Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) is a full and deep Agreement signed on 18 February 2022, during a virtual summit between the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, and His Excellency the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. CEPA entered into force on 01 May 2022. The India-UAE trade agreement was implemented in May last year. Bilateral trade between the countries increased to USD 84.9 billion in 2022-23 from USD 72.9 billion in 2021-22.
