PM Modi gifts projects worth Rs 62 thousand crore Before the announcement of Lok Sabha election dates, PM Narendra Modi’s vigorous tours are continuing. PM will be on a tour of Telangana from 4 to 5 March. During this time he will launch and lay the foundation stone of many development schemes.
PM Modi will launch infrastructure projects worth more than Rs 62 thousand crore here. Along with this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate or lay the foundation stone of several development projects related to power, rail and road sectors in Adilabad and Sangareddy districts. Infrastructure projects worth Rs 56 thousand crore will be launched at a public meeting in Adilabad.
Whereas the projects to be launched in Sangareddy are worth Rs 6,800 crore. The main focus of the projects to be started in Adilabad will be on the power sector.
PM Modi will dedicate to the nation NTPC’s 800 MW Telangana Super Thermal Power Project (Unit-2) at Peddapalli, Telangana.
This project based on ultra-supercritical technology will provide 85 percent electricity to Telangana. Its power generation efficiency will be about 42 percent which is the highest among all the power stations of NTPC. Its foundation stone was also laid by the Prime Minister. The PM will also dedicate to the nation the newly electrified Ambari-Adilabad-Pimpalkhuti railway line.
PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of two major National Highway projects connecting Telangana with Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh through NH-353B and NH-163 respectively. The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the Civil Aviation Research Organization (CARO) Center in Hyderabad on March 5.
Built at a total cost of more than Rs 350 crore, the center has been set up at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad on behalf of the Airports Authority of India to upgrade and enhance Research & Development (R&D) activities in the field of civil aviation. It is envisioned to provide a global research platform for the aviation community through domestic and collaborative research to provide indigenous and innovative solutions.
After this the PM will leave for Sangareddy, where he will inaugurate, inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth Rs 6,800 crore. These projects include many major sectors like roads, rail, petroleum and natural gas. The Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of three National Highway projects.
These include four-laning of the 40 km long Kandi to Ramsanpalle section of NH-161. The project is part of the Indore-Hyderabad Economic Corridor and will provide seamless passenger and freight traffic between Telangana, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. This section will reduce the travel time between Hyderabad and Nanded by about three hours.

PM Modi gifts projects worth Rs 62 thousand crore in Telangana: Foundation stone for six laning of Pune-Hyderabad NH
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the work of upgrading the 47 km long Miryalaguda to Kodad section of NH-167 to two-laning. Paved shoulders will be laid on both sides of the road. Better connectivity will boost tourism as well as economic activity and industries in the region. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for six-laning of the 29 km long Pune-Hyderabad section of NH-65. The project will also provide better connectivity to major industrial centers of Telangana such as Pashamilaram Industrial Area near Patancheru.
During the event, the Prime Minister will inaugurate six new station buildings as well as doubling and electrification of the Sanathnagar-Maula Ali rail line. The entire 22 km route of the project has been commissioned with automatic signaling and has been completed as part of the MMTS (Multi Modal Transport Service) Phase-II project. As part of this, six new station buildings have been constructed at Firozguda, Suchitra Centre, Bhudevi Nagar, Ammuguda, Neredmet and Moula Ali Housing Board stations.
PM Will also inaugurate Indian Oil’s Paradip-Hyderabad pipeline Officials said that the safe, fast and economical mode of transport connecting the eastern part of the Twin City region with the western part will be highly beneficial for the passengers. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate Indian Oil’s Paradip-Hyderabad pipeline.
