PM Modi in Dwarka: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on Gujarat tour. PM Modi also went scuba diving at Panchkui beach in Dwarka. During this, PM Modi went into the deep sea and prayed at the place where the submerged city of Dwarka of Lord Shri Krishna is.

On Sunday, PM Modi first offered prayers at Bet Dwarka temple here. After this, the longest cable bridge ‘Sudarshan Setu’ was inaugurated. After this, PM Modi also did scuba diving at Panchkui beach of Dwarka.

During this, PM Modi went into the deep sea and prayed at the place where the submerged city of Dwarka of Lord Shri Krishna is. This ancient city is associated with Lord Shri Krishna, which was the center of grandeur and prosperity.

Indian Navy officers were deployed for his security during scuba diving.

PM Modi went scuba diving with the aim of promoting adventure sports and tourism in Dwarka. During this, PM Modi went into the deep sea and prayed at the place where the submerged city of Dwarka of Lord Shri Krishna is.


This ancient city is associated with Lord Shri Krishna, which was the center of grandeur and prosperity. It is a place under the sea, which preserves its rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

Highlighted the deep connection with Lord Krishna

PM Modi revealed his deep connection with Lord Krishna through scuba diving. He said about this that it was a divine experience. Before this, PM Modi had also gone scuba diving in Lakshadweep and his pictures had gone viral on social media.

Sharing his experience, PM Modi wrote on X, “To pray in the city of Dwarka, which is immersed in the waters, was a very divine experience. I felt connected to an ancient era of spiritual grandeur and timeless devotion. May Bhagwan Shri Krishna bless us all”

He later shared a video on X detailing his diving experience: “Dwarka Darshan under the waters…where the spiritual and the historical converge, where every moment was a divine melody echoing Bhagwan Shri Krishna’s eternal presence”.

Today, I experienced those moments with will stay with me forever… I went deep in the sea and did ‘Darshan’ of the ancient Dwarka city. Archeologists have written a lot about the Dwarka city hidden underwater. In our scriptures also, it is said about Dwarka that it was a city with beautiful gates and tall buildings, as tall as the top of the world. Lord Krishna himself constructed this city,” PM Modi said as he addressed a rally after the Dwarka Darshan.


When I went deep in the sea, I experienced the divinity… I bowed down in front of Dwarkadhish. I took a peacock feather with me and placed it at Lord Krishna’s feet. I had always been curious to go there and touch the remains of the ancient Dwarka city. I am full of emotions today… A decades-old dream was completed today,” he added.

 PM Modi in Dwarka: Modi inaugurated country’s longest cable-stayed bridge “Sudarshan Setu”

Earlier today, the Prime Minister inaugurated ‘Sudarshan Setu’, the country’s longest cable-stayed bridge of 2.32 km, on the Arabian Sea connecting Beyt Dwarka Island to mainland Okha in Gujarat’s Devbhumi Dwarka district. The bridge boasts a unique design, featuring a footpath adorned with verses from Srimad Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna on both sides.

The 2.32 km bridge, including 900 metres of central double span cable-stayed portion and a 2.45 km long approach road, has been constructed at a cost of ₹ 979 crore, as per an official release.
