A strong foundation of our relations has been laid by a deep interest in Indian civilization and languages. Yesterday I saw a direct and vibrant example of our deep people-to-people ties. I had the privilege of paying my tributes to the monuments built in the memory of the “Dobre Maharaja” of Indian poles and the Maharaja of Kolhapur.
