Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Vadra, while addressing the election rally in Chamba, said that when it comes to the Old Pension Scheme (OPS), the Prime Minister says that there is no money, but there is no shortage of money for the billionaires. Modi comes to Himachal like a tourist. They did not help Himachal during the disaster last year. They call Himachal their home, but shy away from helping in times of disaster.
Priyanka Vadra said that the Himachal government is busy fulfilling the guarantee. An attempt was made to topple the democratically elected government in Himachal. From the Prime Minister to all other BJP leaders, they want to keep power in their hands. The Prime Minister is asking for votes in the name of Gods and Goddesses.
She promised that 50 percent jobs will be provided to women. Loan taken for education will be waived off. Agniveer will cancel the scheme. Unemployment had never increased to such an extent in ten years. Common people are suffering from inflation. Will make a law on MSP and will pay the loss to the farmers in 30 days.
Congress National General Secretary said that the entire country needs to learn from the simplicity and honesty of the people of Himachal. Many soldiers of Himachal sacrificed their lives for the country. All the big institutions opened in Himachal are the contribution of Congress Party, BJP merely takes the credit.

The police have made strict arrangements regarding security during the meeting. Superintendent of Police Chamba Abhishek Yadav says that due to Priyanka Gandhi’s meeting, the police has made tight security arrangements. To ensure smooth traffic management, all the vehicles coming to the rally will be parked in the police grounds. Only ambulances and other emergency vehicles will be allowed to enter the city.
Chamba MLA Sadar Neeraj Nayyar said that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will address a huge gathering on Monday. Preparations have been made for this. Thousands of workers and people will gather in the meeting.
She started her campaign from Kangra Lok Sabha seat by holding two rallies, and till May 30 will cover remaining three Lok Sabha seats of Hamirpur, Mandi and Shimla.
